2008 LIBRARY PROCEDURES
Library procedures for Farmingdale residents have changed. At the annual
Farmingdale town meeting, it was agreed to either reimburse or to pre-pay*
for up to “one” library membership (Family or Individual) to the library of
their choice, with not more than “one” fee reimbursed per household.
Residents now have two choices to renew their library cards.
1) Pay the Library for the yearly membership and then turn the receipt into
the town office for reimbursement.
2) Contact the Town Office and tell them which Library you wish to join and
they will send payment to the library.
Please
be advised that any reimbursement or pre-payments request need to be into
the town office by 5:00 of each Tuesday, so all requests can be processed on
Thursdays.
*Effective immediately, the Gardiner Library
will no longer accept any pre-payments from the Town of Farmingdale. The
only option at this time to join the Gardiner Library will be the
reimbursement method.
